Terrina Christopherhell Stause was born on July 21, 1982. Her most well-known role is her role on Selling Sunset, a Netflix reality series. Her prior roles included Amanda Dillon (All My Children) and Jordan Ridgeway (Days of Our Lives). Stause was originally born in Draffenville. She earned her degree from Murray State University with a B.A. in theatre in 2003. The name she chose for her middle name, "Chrishell", is an evocative term created from the unusual circumstances of her birth. Her mother had her baby in an Shell station and Chris was present during the delivery. Strause refutes the rumors about her baby's birth in her book. She revealed that her mother had problems with her car, and she pulled to the station. While waiting in the gas station, she went into pre-labor and was assisted by the car attendant to get her to the hospital. Strause was born in a hospital. Before she knew she was pregnant her mother split up with her father's biological father, who was half Japanese and half Spanish. Jeff is her stepfather. Chrishell Strause missed middle school for the entire year because she was forced to live in the shelter of a tent. Strause revealed her experiences of hiding her identity from her classmates , describing the way she washed her hair in the rivers and applying for food stamps. Parents were suffering from addiction and mental health issues. Strause was 10 years old when she joined the Worldwide Church of God. Strause describes her mother as self-righteous , free-spirited, and she never earned an income steady.
